Homelessness Intervention Project:

Potential Client must be homeless or in receipt of a written or verbal notice threatening the loss of housing

Public Benefits Hotline

• Provides legal information to people who have public benefits terminations or denials

SSI:

• Denials

• Terminations

Food Stamps:

• Nutrition Outreach & Education Program conducts pre-screenings and assists food stamp applicants in Wayne County

Elder Law:

• Prospective clients generally must have a referral from the County Office for the Aging. This project operates in Ontario, Seneca (no referral needed), Wayne and Yates Counties

• Seniors Health Law Project - Wayne County – assists seniors with legal problems related to nursing home stays or efforts to avoid nursing home placement

Domestic Violence:

• Limited services available for Livingston, Ontario, Seneca and Wayne County residents

Pro Se Divorce Clinics:

• Livingston, Ontario, Seneca and Yates Counties

Paternity, Custody, Support, Visitation must generally be resolved with court order prior to clinic appointment

Child Support Enforcement

• Available for Ontario & Yates County residents who are not recipients of public assistance

Legal Assistance to Minor Parents (LAMP)

• Civil legal problems faced by Ontario & Yates County residents who are under the age of 21 and pregnant or parenting

Cancer

• Civil legal problems faced by cancer survivors and their families

HIV/AIDS

• Civil legal problems faced by individuals and families faced with HIV/AIDS

Education

• Special education – Ontario County only
